This week's assignment for my Saturday class Words and Image was to research good food-writing and find an ingredient to write about. The first place I looked was Martha Stewart Living. The writing in this magazine has always impressed me. I chose an article that highlights three unappreciated ingredients: lemon, parsley, and Parmesan cheese. Here is the full article.
I really enjoyed the article's exciting take on everyday ingredients. I have made many of its recipes since I first read the article, and in fact, I am making the pasta with lemon, parsley & parmesan tonight.
